Instead, these bugging eyeballs are meant for to the section of the populace that has either “recently moved to a town with a populace mutated by pollution, radiation or demonic forces,” or the ones who think that their face “should reflect the dread you experience whenever you contemplate existence in an infinite, uncaring universe?.” Well, these 3D printed might be of some use come Halloween time.

Computer Monitor Catapult Prank

It is a fully 3D printed catapult that the kids can use to prank their elders. It can be printed in either ABS or PLA. The catapult can either be attached to the computer monitor with duct tape or foam tape. Use a lightweight fishing string the connect the trigger to the mouse or keyboard cable. Once set, it can be loaded with preferably something that does not ruin the computer parts it comes into contact with.

House Fly/Wasp

Remember, when we mentioned the ability to create hyper-realistic models with a 3D printer? Well, that came back to bite. Using models like this, kids can create 3D printed flies, bees, and wasps. Concealed inside a pack of chips or a box of cookies, they will create an incredible jump scare. Or they can be used to keep others away from your food.

Flying Surprise Butterfly Prank Toy

This flying surprise butterfly requires a bit more effort to set up, but the results are remarkable, especially on unsuspecting victims. These neat rubber band powered surprise butterflies fly out when people open cards, books, or packages. All that is needed to assemble the printed parts are rubber bands and glue.

Spider Scare Box

This 3D printed version of a scare box can be used to house different 3D printed bugs like flies, lizards, cockroaches, spiders, and much more. It also requires a bit more effort to set up. You will need a wire bent in a diameter of around 80mm, trimmed to the needed length. Further, you will need a thread to pull the bug out of the box. The thread has to be fixed at the lug on the spool. Fix the other end to the lid at the correct position. Once correctly set up, it will jump to greet whoever opens the box/

Cockroach

Just hearing the name and the thought of finding a cockroach makes most people squirm. This awesome model is based on an American Cockroach. The body is 40mm long, and the legs are 1mm wide, and antennas are 0.5mm wide, and the total print is 2mm. You can simply print out a couple of these creepy-crawlies and let the pranks begin.

Spilled Milk

This prank has the potential to score serious scolding from the parents, just because of the amazing results. Printing the model in white makes for a fun 3D printed take on this classic prank. It was also designed to work with the milk cartons with a twist top. For old school cartons, just using the spill will still freak someone out. There are two spills, a full spill, and a spill with a carton cut out for your pranking needs.

Bonus: Electrical Outlet

This faux electrical outlet may work better if attempted on guests or someone not familiar with the placement of outlets at your home. Stick these around and watch people try to plug their devices without success. Who knew so much joy could be had with a bit of PLA and double-sided tape?
