For this week’s edition of Inventor Spotlight, we talked to the gifted 3D creator, Leo’s 3D Studio. We asked him about his inspirations, and his advice for people getting started with 3D printing.

What Inspires Leo to Create in 3D?

Leo is inspired by the ability and freedom to print anything you could envisage, creatively. 3D printing is a remarkable technology where your imagination only bounds you. It inspires him to research and learn more about all the possibilities of this tech.

Advice for Beginners?

As per Leo, the key to printing or even doing anything is learning. He considers himself a learner, who is always trying to improve and discover new things. Try to create a small box in Tinkercad and print it; if you are satisfied with the results, great! If not, try to find out what went wrong, and why? You will learn a lot in the process of getting the perfect print.

He concluded by adding:

“Be creative, learn and enjoy the process. Do not be afraid of having failed prints in the start. Do not fear nozzle clogging. If you are not great at designing bigger models, learn Tinkercad and start with small objects.”
